I noticed that if I use the second option also deletes the states of returns.

I have the same problem using PS cleaner, the only reasonable solution I found on the internet ask me to modify the file. If I modify the file them I will not be able to upgrade prestashop.

WARNING The error happens when I just start building the store, and worked for me.

1.- I removed and deleted the Prestashop cleaner module
2.- using a FTP program localize the file DbPDO.php. classes/db
3.- download the file in case you need it
4.- Probably you have a Photoshop folder in your desktop localize the file
        prestashop/clases/db
5.- upload the file and replace the old file
6.- In case this doesn't work for you, you can reinstall the old file you download early.
