    • Environment:
On my VPS. With a 100% clean installation of Prestashop 1.5.2.0.
I reinstalled the version 1.5.2.0. 3 times now.

      Description

When I enable shared quantities, in a multistore group. The cart doesnt work anymore. Without a multishop group, the cart works.

      More detailed:
I can't add anything to the cart, and I can't checkout. And the cart doesnt expand while hovering on it with the mouse. Only I see the product flying to the cart, but it isn't there. It say "cart: (empty)". When I refresh the page then I see the text "cart: 8 Products" for about ~0.5 second, then it disappears. I have to refresh to see it again for ~0.5 second.
When I go to the checkout page by clicking on the cart, it says at the "Shopping cart summary": "Your shopping cart contains: 8 products".
But the products are not visible and the price also isn't available.

I tried all browsers with empty cache, and I reinstalled Prestashop 1.5.2.0. 3 times. It doesn't make a difference. The cart only works without multishop/shared quantities.

The cart is the most essential feature of any e-commerce solution, so I hope that it works in the next version! Thanks for everything.

As far as I know the problem is when enabling "shared quantities" in a group PS will look automatically in the "ps_stock_available" table. As the old quanties are not copied to the new table the cart symbol appars on the front page although not functional as the "ps_stock_available" is empty.
I understand that a feature like copy all quantities from old ps_product and combinations to "ps_stock_available" is not available at present as it is maybe error prone or not well tested but at least the cart symbol on the frontpage should be greyed out when a product is not present in the "ps_stock_available" table. Otherwise it is confusing and not production ready.
Keep up the good work, all the best, trip

Ok, I have tested now further. That the quantities are not greyed out happened because I used my old standard template. Anyway a function to copy old quantities to the stock_available table would be nice.
