      Description

      Since upgrading to 1.5x CSV import is a nightmare.

      Now i can´t even import a CSV with more than 100 products... i get a 500 Internal server error
      I even changed the max_imput_vars from 1000 to 500000 and still cannot get thru a import without an error.

      My php setting are here

      max_execution_time 3600
      max_file_uploads 50
      max_input_nesting_level 64
      max_input_time 1200
      max_input_vars 500000
      memory_limit 256M

        TWO MONTHS AFTER REPORT AND NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE !!! THIS IS THE SAME FOR ALL CSV IMPORT BUGS REPORTED. JUST STARTED LOOKING FOR A PRESTASHOP ALTERNATIVE. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE TO USE. NOT EVEN A CSV WITH ONE LINE WILL IMPORT WITHOUT A TIMEOUT ERROR!

        I found a way to resolve this issue. This is caused because after every import, all index is recalculated. Just go to PREFERENCES -> SEARCH and disable INDEXATION. After you import all the files, recalculate the remaining product index.

        I think this is fixed on the development version.

        For error 500 during import, my error log indicate fcgid timeout.

        I modify httpd.conf (360 seconds, change value if necessary)
        <IfModule mod_fcgid.c>
        IPCCommTimeout 360
        IPCConnectTimeout 360
        </IfModule>

        Import is very slow. More faster in local

        Dear all,

        Sorry this track is pretty old and does not seem to have a conclusion.

        Please open a new track if you still get a error 500 when importing. This can come from many reasons so please open a new track for this so that we can test it on your server if needed.

        Best regards
