Description

Assume there is a feature 'Abc' with the feature value 'Xyz'.

Products are imported having that feature and the value.

Despite 'Xyz' value's existence, feature 'Abc' is set as having a custom value 'Xyz' for the imported products.

If a product with an existing feature value is imported, that feature value should not me marked as custom.

Hi Phrasespot,

Thank you for your report.

I was able to reproduce the issue and a similar request was posted a few days ago on the Forge.

At this time, we don't plan to change this behavior.

Thank you for your understanding,

This is unfortunate because custom feature values are ignored by Layered Navigation module, in effect imported products are ignored by layered navigation module.

If this is expected behavior, it is also misleading having those in product import. Maybe there should be a separate feature import.

There is an easy way to do this, see my report on http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PNM-542 to allow custom feature values to be used by layered navigation.
