Description

I tried to install perstashop 1.4.4.1 on a VPS server, Linux Ubuntu, PHP 5.3, Mysql 5.1.54, Apache 2.
Even click next, stay at Step 3. The administrator information did not write into database also, so not able to log in at back-office.
File permission has been set to 777.
Database connection, php mail function else on also ok.

In fact, same case on my local notebook (prestashop 1.4.4.0, Window XP), but that time admin info can be wrote into database, so I can log in back-office, and keep working on developing my website.

It's seems that this issue isn't a problem from Prestashop.

Can you test to make an install with Mysam mode and not Innodb ?

Hi,

I tried to install prestashop 1.4.4.1 few minutes ago. This time, I keep using the default setting of the location: France/Paris, then it's installed successfully.

Caused by the prestashop's location or time zone setting matching with server's time zone, I guess.
Not about the Mysql, coz my database has been enabled both of it.

By the way, will 1.4.5 will be released this month?

Hello,

We released PrestaShop 1.4.8 and 1.4.9 since this issue has been submitted.
The bug has probably been fixed either in one of those versions or in the next major version: 1.5.3.

If you still reproduce the issue in the 1.4.9, please submit it again, we will gladly check it out.
